These terms and conditions govern the use of our software service. By using Beautisnap, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Introduction

Beautisnap is a macOS application designed to help users create beautiful code snippets and screenshots instantly, enhancing their documentation and sharing workflows.

Beautisnap is not associated in any way with Apple Inc. It is a third-party tool designed to help users capture and beautify screenshots on their Mac.

2. License and Pricing Plans

Beautisnap is available in two versions:

  • Beautisnap Free: Free to download and use. Includes core features such as screen & window capture, basic backgrounds, and JPEG export. The free version includes a watermark on exported images.
  • Beautisnap Pro: A one-time purchase of €4.99 that unlocks all premium features, including watermark-free exports, additional export formats (PNG, TIFF), watermark customization, multiple seats, lifetime updates, and all upcoming Pro features.

By purchasing Beautisnap Pro, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on your devices, subject to these terms. Each license may be used on the number of devices specified at the time of purchase (multiple seats).

3. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase of Beautisnap Pro within 14 days of the transaction, without giving any reason (cooling-off period). To exercise this right, you must inform us at ascone.christian@gmail.com with a clear statement of your decision to withdraw before the 14-day period expires.

Please note that, in accordance with Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal may not apply if you have expressly consented to the immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. If such consent is given at the time of purchase, you waive the right to withdraw once the digital content has been made available to you.

The free version of Beautisnap does not involve a financial transaction, so standard withdrawal rights for paid purchases do not apply to it.

4. Acceptable Use

When using Beautisnap, you agree to:

  • Use the software only for its intended purpose.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

5. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

  • Use Beautisnap for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or repackage the software.
  • Interfere with the software's operation or security features.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable laws. We only collect and process personal data necessary for improving the application and support. Your data will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.

7. Intellectual Property

Beautisnap and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Beautisnap owners and their licensors. You agree not to copy, modify, or distribute any part of the software without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Beautisnap is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the software will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beautisnap will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Italy and the European Union. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan, Italy, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.

10. Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in these terms and conditions limits your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law. If any provision of these terms is found to be unfair or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new terms on our website. Your continued use of Beautisnap after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
